Link-in-city is a Google center headquarters that is focused on the idea of exploring how the inner workings of an office can act in the role of a physical search engine of ideas. A place where an employee's office can travel and become a mobile enterprise that allows the walls to become an interactive experience. The grid of the office would become ever changing and adaptive. Each office would be interchangeable and completely able to adapt according to the needs and ideas of each employee. Each unit would be able to merge into one another, converging into various sizes and purposes. The exterior units would be able to transverse from building to building allowing these units to travel the entire breath of Chelsea and respond to the changing needs and atmospheres of the company. Coupling and transforming these offices would begin to invade and accommodate the personality of Chelsea. Eventually these units would group and conveal into a new tower that would form an interactive node of information onto the near by pier.
